How to Use the Leash Plug Lock

Step #1: Loosen the thumb screw so that the "eye" on the bottom of the lock can be placed around the metal bar on your leash plug.

Step #2: Tighten the thumb screw until the "eye" is completely clamped around the metal bar on your leash plug.

Step #3: Slide the steel cable through the hole that is above the thumb screw.

Step #4: Lock the cable to a secure structure and your surfboard is now locked! Because the cable prevents the thumb screw from being loosened, the leash plug lock remains securely clamped to the metal bar on your leash plug.

How to Use the Fin Box Lock

Step #1: Completely unscrew the thumb screw. Next, insert the male side of the lock into your fin box.

Step #2: Insert the female side of the lock into your fin box so that it mates with the male side of the lock.

Step #3: Now completely screw in the thumb screw which securely joins the male and female sides of the lock. (Note: The view of the lock was rotated 180° in this photo so that the thumb screw side of the lock can be seen.)

Step #4: Slide the locking cable through its respective hole and your longboard is locked! The fin box lock can NOT be removed even if the fin is removed.
